Both VA and NC have about 20% black populations. Yes, turnout in northern VA is heavy. Turnout everywhere appears to be heavy. The last I heard was McCain was outperforming Bush (2004) in southern VA. If that's accurate, no way Obama wins VA. And if the Obamessiah loses VA, he loses NC (which is historically several points to the right of its northern neighbor, Presidentially).

Yesterday, I read a quote from Lindsay Graham, one of McCain's closest confidantes. Graham said he would beat Michael Phelps at swimming before Obama won NC. Then Graham added, "And I can't swim!" :-)
