A little explanation, I dredged up this article, as an answer to this thread:

In this thread, Romney is being thrashed for going along with both Palin and McCain in not calling Obama a socialist.

Yeah, I remember Romney took a lot of heat earlier when he said he thought Obama was not a socialist. Looks like he was probably just towing the party line there.
