About an hour ago I was working in our yard. A Minivan comes through slowly, and I notice they are counting yard signs. Not the first time in recent history that slow moving vehicles have come through, the neighbors are keeping an eye out do to theft of open garages at night, just for background. On the back of the van, an Obama sticker. Freepers your take on it, Over the top Obamatons?

I’d have called Police to report someone in a van casing homes to burglarize. I really would have. :-)

Next time that slow moving vehicle comes by counting signs, toss a few rocks his way....that should speed him up a little...

One can only guess.
Counting yard signs?
Making a note of McCain signs to steal later?
Making a note of McCain signs so the families living in those houses can be purged after the New Era begins?
Looking for stuff to steal after dark? I know when one of my sons lived in Brooklyn some time ago, car thieves would actually be commissioned to steal a certain year and model car, maybe even a certain color, and they’d go around the neighborhood until they found what was wanted.

Next time that slow moving vehicle comes by counting signs, toss a few rocks his way....that should speed him up a little... Really? And sit in a jail cell and not be able to vote? That behavior is indefensible. Just take pictures of the van, including license plate. Most bad guys really hate that.

Regarding yard signs:
I am too damn busy being productive and tending to my family to go get a yard sign. A lot of the ObamaIdiots in my area are too-much-time-on-their hands, academic zealots.
A general, anecdotal observation FWIW.

Cicero,
This was a clean fairly new minivan, 40 to 50 somethings. The driver the husband looked like the college professor type.

Perhaps a leisurely stroll to pick up your morning paper with your shotgun in tow would send the proper subliminal response...

A few days ago another freeper posted that someone appeared to be writing down addresses of houses with McCain yard signs and wasn’t shy about showing his face. She said she is 73 or she would have chased him down.

Hmmmm, very interesting. My own and my next-door neighbor’s signs were jacked last night. Mine had been up about two months; no damage to the car that had a McCain/Palin sticker, nor anything else I could see. I am located in Westminster, CO, how about you? Anyone else observe this kind of behavior? I think I will call the police and put in a report, what do you all think?

Freepers your take on it, Over the top Obamatons?
Logging addresses of McCain/Palin signs.
For retribution.
Regardless of whether Obama wins or loses.
How silly of me, The ObamaMessiah can't lose.
He can only be cheated by "voter suppression".
And of course, there won't be ANY voter fraud if he wins!
(/Sarc)
Actually, there was a thread this weekend about an "alternative
weekly" newspaper in Seattle printing photos AND ADDRESSES of
homes in Seattle suburbs with McCain/Palin signs.
Clear brown-shirt-style intimidation.

Where? And yes, neighborhood watch reporting of license plate #nnnnnn seemingly casing the neighborhood is the correct response.
Where was this?
