You know what they say when something sounds too good to be true? This audio from a caller into Columbus radio station WYTS, 1230 on the dial. I think it might be a hoax!

Don’t believe it. Their numbers on California are way off

I think we’d be smarter to bemoan the “fact” that Obama is up by at least 10, and McCain is floundering. I think there are an awful lot of over confident Democrats, including the Big Zero himself. Heck, at +10 who needs to take the trouble to vote, right?

The guy sounds sane and credible, doesn’t sound like a put-on. McCain landslide? Fingers crossed knocking on wood.

not this again...please, i heard it for the first time friday and was excited. Now that it’s been posted about a hundred times here it’s beginning to make us look desperate and grasping at straws.

Just vote folks...that’s all JUST VOTE

i think the only way mccain loses is massive voter fraud in all the swing states-——which is very possible sadly.

I do not see a McCain landslide, but I do see a solid win for the top of the GOP ticket with coattails sufficient to preclude a Dem super majority in the senate. I base this opinion on nothing more than my reading of a large variety of blogs, print media and news sites both left and right - that and my faith in the core wisdom of the American voter.

How did I find Free Republic? I’ve been lurking on here since the 2004 election, but just started to post a month or so ago. I used to lurk here for ammunition to post on the now defunct precocious & prodigious political board where a lot of Liberals hung out, and they really used to gang up on me. Of course, I got the last laugh when Pres Bush got re-elected.

The results are simply shocking. The polls showed Barack Obama with an 18 point lead in California just a few days ago. The results thus far are the complete opposite. In the most liberal state in the entire country, the results are that 99,000 Republicans have voted and 96,000 Democrats voted. In the mail-in balloting the results so far are that 9,000 Democrats sent in their ballots and that 5,000 Republicans did so. So with nearly 210,000 people having voted, the Democrats have only a 1,000 vote advantage !
