There is a reason CNN dropped Gallup as an election polling partner after 2004. In 04 Gallup said Kerry would win Florida and Ohio handily and Bush would win Wisconsin and Pennsylvania handily. Those were the 4 big toss-ups and they got them all wrong. But I’m sure they have improved!!!

Actually, the truth is Gallup dropped CNN and chose USA Today as its sole polling partner. USA Today is not a part of the daily tracking this year, but they have partnered on the polls that were not the daily tracking.
