I will take this moment to say that I found out I was influential in getting someone at work to vote McCain/Palin. When she first mentioned the election to me, she did so with a “So is McCain going to set back women’s rights 60 years?”. I gave her an honest but not partisan answer. Turns out she is now a good McCain supporter because she sees that O is a charlatan. She said had I not been so vocally against O, she wouldn’t have kept tabs on the info coming out about him. It was the “spread the wealth” comment and taxation issues that sealed the deal for her. And she hasn’t voted since 1992!!
