I used to think it was California that was the preeminent national embarrassment by electing people like Barbara Boxer and Nancy Pelosi...then I realized Georgia elected Cynthia McKinney, and Vermont elected Bernie Sanders...and the list goes on. Still, if Minnesota elects Franken over the extremely decent, intelligent and effective Norm Coleman, it will be a permanent stain on that state to rival all of the aforementioned travesties.

You’re forgeting Massholechusetts. Look at my representation:

US Senate: Kennedy/Kerry (Do I need to comment?)
US Rep: Barney Frank (Grab your anckles)
Governor: Deval Patrick (Obama-lite)

I’d take Bernie! over any of these vermin...seriously! He was against the $700B bailout.
