I am starting to think you are telling the truth. I have NEVER seen my wife this politically active. She now wants to be the GOP head for our borough!

The link to the youtube video has been posted earlier in the thread. Here's a transcript:

Let me sort of describe my overall policy.

What I've said is that we would put a cap and trade system in place that is as aggressive, if not more aggressive, than anybody else's out there.

I was the first to call for a 100% auction on the cap and trade system, which means that every unit of carbon or greenhouse gases emitted would be charged to the polluter. That will create a market in which whatever technologies are out there that are being presented, whatever power plants that are being built, that they would have to meet the rigors of that market and the ratcheted down caps that are being placed, imposed every year.

So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it's just that it will bankrupt them because they're going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that's being emitted.

That will also generate billions of dollars that we can invest in solar, wind, biodiesel and other alternative energy approaches.

The only thing I've said with respect to coal, I haven't been some coal booster. What I have said is that for us to take coal off the table as a (sic) ideological matter as opposed to saying if technology allows us to use coal in a clean way, we should pursue it.

So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can.

It's just that it will bankrupt them.

“...no way will FOX not pick this up with Sarah mentioning it during the rally.”

Hannity has a special tonight. You gotta know he’ll shout it far and wide. Once Rush gets ahold of it tomorrow...the rest will be history.

I just hope the RNC gets an ad running in all coal-producing states before 5:00 PM tonight!

Can you say “November surprise”?

Obama introduces his statement by saying, “This is my philosophy...” That’s why we don’t like you Mr. O. It’s your philosophy, not your skin color.

It is not “saving” the planet.

It is ALWAYS the $$$. Always. They want to make their friends wealthier with trading “CO2 credits” - the trading market is in...Chicago!

They also want to make their SilLY-CON Valley pals rich who are investing tons of their money into green energy.

The unions (especially UMW) need to come up for air once in awhile to see what’s going on in their industry. In this case, O wants to kill their jobs. Hello????

Does the UMW union even know the Zero-Biden coal stance? UMW supports a candidate that wants their jobs gone!

Give me a break. Vote for your jobs folks...

Wonder if some of these people will catch on to that. So darn eager to write a vanity and be the first to get it up on the forum. Doesn't seem to matter if the post is informative. Everyone logged in right now should write a vanity about what they are doing at this moment. Sign-up if you need to. It is your duty to clog this board with nothing posts. Get busy!

What is wrong with you two? There is plenty of info on here. DocT111 was eager to post, yes, but the information is on the thread if you would just read it and quit criticizing for a minute. The ones quick on the trigger are people like you.

Sarah Palin evidently heard the audio of Bozo telling us how he is going to destroy coal fired power plants, which in turn will destroy the coal industry, by implementing a huge cap and trade scheme. It was all over FR this morning. FReepers sent out tapes to everyone they could think of, Drudge has it running on his site, and now Palin mentions it in her rally, which was running on C-span and DocT111 heard her mention it and you two were evidently to stupid to notice all this info on this particular thread. Go figure.

The reporter and anchor at WTAP didn’t seem to know what Sarah was talking about, so I emailed the link to them.
I pray everyone at that rally goes home and views it then emails it to everyone they they know.
