To: narses; wintertime

There are more good Catholics in those pews than anyone dreams of....and yes, narses, a large portion of them are in Catholic churches that are “novus ordo”.

Just for example the Carmelite lay community I belong to is growing amazingly and we have hundreds of these communities in the US alone, and there are 10,000 of us worldwide.

The Spirit moves where He wills and the Church—the whole Church—is on its way to a renewed vigor and holiness.

It is imprudent to paint with such broad brushes, wintertime.

Absolutely. Until the Motu Proprio almost all of the Roman Catholic Church believed that ONLY the Novus Ordo was licit. I would guess that well over 98% of all who attend Mass today attend a Novus Ordo ceremony. That said, almost none of the hideous, left wing abuses that happen do so in the Extraordinary Form (or Tridentine) of the Holy Mass. More - the Orders that I listed have a history of fighting against Modernism (a documented heresy) and are antagonistic to Marxist clerics and laity.

God Bless the Carmelites and all of the Holy men and women who hold and share the True Faith.
