People on the right need to consider the implications of providing financial and social support to those on the Left.
It makes no sense to be nice to people who abuse you.
Libs should be shunned and made to suffer omnipresent stress.

Have you ever seen McCain's spot in 2002 on SNL. It was hilarious. He said since Barbara Streisand was trying to do his job for years, he was going to do hers and started singing her songs (Memories, etc). I was rolling on the floor.

Uh, yeah, that is a good strategy...NOT.
Lets just NEVER take advantage of free million dollars worth of PR on national TV. and oh, yeah, lets never try to reframe the political landscape in our favor when we get the chance.
Lets just sit in our conservative Ivory tower and watch the Libs take over everybody that isn’t as smart as we are...instead of trying to reach out more and more to “moderates” or just people who don’t even know what conservatism is.

If our church needs to turn hearts and minds it goes into the neighborhoods and speaks to the people. This is the political equivalent. Even if Mac only opens up a few eyes and turn a few hearts with his God-given talent for humor, it makes a difference. Sad to say, there are plenty of people who will base their vote superficially on "seems like a nice guy".
The proof is in the surprisingly nice comments the SNL people had for Sarah...as if they were stunned she is a genuinely nice person. You can't hide authenticity. Mac & Sarah have it, Nobama & Plugs don't.
