Come on. McCain missed many, many opportunities throughout the campaign. His staff has made numerous strategic mistakes that made the climb that much more difficult. McCain handed them a star in Sarah Palin, and they nearly screwed that up. Fortunately, Palin is SO good, she was able to overcome BOTH campaigns. :-)
