I urge FReepers who are not yet working on the McCain campaign in some manner start making phone calls from an online list from the comfort of their home. Using the link below, you register and can make a limited number of calls. They provide the phone numbers and the scripts on your browser.
You then have to wait an hour to be able to make more calls. However, once you have made a number of calls, you can request the ability to make unlimited calls by emailing the link on the last page after you finish your calls.

It’s about time!....
I just made 50 calls.
Great! Folks, you can select the state you call, so you may want to call one of the swing states rather than your own.
Why don’t we set a FReeper goal of one million calls before the election?
Have you heard about the so-called Obama supporters calling people in “their neighborhoods”? Yeah, we got one last night- checked the area code, Baltimore. I’m in southeast Virginia- Baltimore is not my neighborhood. Lol
I made 200 calls...just a note..I don’t know how pollsters reach us as only about 10% are home ever when I call..
I’ve been making my calls. This is easier than 04 when I had to google white page numbers on Ohio.
Here are some script ideas that have proven effective...
Hi, I and I just wanted to mention that
Recently, a bill was introduced by Congressman George Miller, democrat of CA to eliminate the tax deduction of 401K contributions and force us all to pay increased taxes. The law would obviously increase downward pressure on the stock market, though forced 401k liquidations.
John McCain would veto this bill. Instead, he will get our economy back on track by allowing a 10% tax credit for R&D investments and accelerated equipment depreciation to create jobs, especially through small businesses.
As a McCain volunteer, I hope we can count on you support November the 4th.

He will reform Washington by going after Freddie, Fannie Mae and Acorn.
He will break our dependence on foreign oil, which will cut prices at the pump. McCain will employ an all of the above strategy to diversify our sources of energy.
On defense, he will not be tested as an inexperienced president as Biden has pointed out Obama would be.
[Best script for NH or seasoned citizens]
We are all feeling the pinch of higher energy prices and John McCain will lower energy prices through increased production in a environmentally friendly way. Obama will discourage employers to maintain health coverage for employees through unreasonable mandates. This demand induced forced rationing of existing government healthcare such as Medicare and Medicaid will create shortages of doctor and facilities.
I signed up this morning and made 20 calls already. It is easy to do.
I’ve made just over 300 calls. I’ve been hitting about 40% on getting answers from the residents. In between calls this morning I received a call from someone making calls on behalf of the McCain/Palin campaign.
I also sent an email to family and friends encouraging them to also sign up and make calls.
Please do the same.

Great, 200 calls! All we need are 5000 Freepers to do the same!
Yes, and I got a lot of wrong numbers, too. However, we should count it as a call if the campaign does, as it does advance the counter and provide useful information to the campaign. Also, I have left quite a few of the scripted answering machine messages.
Are they from voter registration, or just random numbers from the phone book?
I'd like to help, but I want to know what I'm getting into.
Actually, I'd like to help on the ground (I'm in VA this weekend), but I can't get anyone at the state Republican campaign office to return my call.
Only to friends of your family. Or contact the McCain people - they’ll give guide lines...

Make some signs and post them at busy intersections, or make a really big sign you can hold and stand at a busy intersection.
The lists are supposed to be from voter registration lists, probably with some information about how likely they will vote for McCain. Just need to call the numbers listed on the screen.
You can meet some interesting people. One woman, about my age, and I started just talking, and I will probably follow up with her as a new friend.
