I think she's not very bright, not inquisitive about the world around her, doesn't seem to value education for her children, and has an ethics problem.

Furthermore, I watch cable news all day, and her baby is always in the arms of someone else. She rarely gives him a passing notice. She's no mom of the year. I can assure you that I'm not impressed that she makes Piper sit through one speech after another.

And if any of you think that she's going to be at the top of the ticket in four years, YOU ARE NUTS. She has no appeal beyond the right wing base.

You don't think she value's education for her children? You think she wants to keep in the igloo forever or something? /sarc

In education, we are shaping a three-year funding plan to finally shift the school debate from perpetual "money talk" to accountability and achievement! We are focusing on foundational skills needed in the "real-world" workplace and in college. (Source: State of the State Address to the 25th Alaska Legislature Jan 15, 2008)

We're asking lawmakers to pass a new K-12 funding plan this year. This is an investment that is needed to increase the base student allocation, district cost factors and intensive needs students. It includes $100 million in school construction and deferred maintenance. There is awesome potential to improve education and embrace choice for parents. This potential will prime Alaska to compete in a global economy. Beyond high school, we will boost job training and University options. We are proposing more than $10 million in new funding for apprenticeship programs, expansion of construction, engineering and health care degrees. But it must be about more than funds, it must be a change in philosophy. It is time to shift focus, from just dollars to "caliyulriit," which is Yupik for "people who want to work." Has it occurred to you that might be seeing the same news loops or a lot of the same stock images?

I did notice the other day when they landed that her husband was carrying the baby DOWN THE STEPS FROM THE AIRPLANE. Good move. I'd hate to see her misstep in those heels and drop the baby.

I suppose you want her to carry the baby in her arms while giving all her stump speeches in the contested states. Use him as a photo op, so the detractors can say she shouldn't be VP because she can't separate from her kids long enough to even give a speech?

What is she wearing in this picture? Ohhhhhh, look at that, she has baby Trig right there with her in the Governor's office in Alaska WHILE SHE SIGNS A BILL INTO EFFECT.

I can assure you that I'm not impressed that she makes Piper sit through one speech after another.

RIIIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHTT, but you want her to have the baby around more. Quite often Piper seems to be enjoying herself and yeah, kids get tired, too. Oh well, that's life.
