Right now, I'm on a plane somewhere over Nevada en route to New Mexico. We're in the midst of an exciting five-day, eight state tour to rally support for the McCain-Palin ticket. This trip will take us across the interior west, through the heartland states of Missouri and Indiana, then on to the battlegrounds of Ohio and Pennsylvania, before ending in New Hampshire with an Election Day rally in the blue-collar city of Manchester.
With your support, we've targeted dozens of races and poured our resources into them, starting at the top of the ticket with John McCain and Sarah Palin but also dozens of important congressional and state races. We've held fundraisers, sent out direct mail, stumped in the districts, held news conferences and basically pulled out all the stops.
But, in the end, it comes down to you. Your vote will make a real difference. The liberal turnout machine, with special interests and big labor providing the grease, is expected to put thousands of people on the ground to get out their vote. Conservatives need to fight back with a super-size turnout of our own. This is where you come in. Take a moment to go to our website, FreeStrongAmerica.com, and review our list of endorsed candidates. Then, on November 4th, please vote for those who appear on the ballot in the area where you live.
I don't have to tell you how critical this election is for the future of America. We can either follow the course of Europe, with higher and higher taxes and more and more government in our lives, or we can reaffirm our nation's founding principles of individual liberty and freedom.
If liberals capture the White House and increase their majorities in the House and Senate, it would be a real setback for the issues we care about - the appointment of conservative judges, getting ourselves off foreign oil, the protection of life, the importance of lower taxes and the need to rid the federal budget of wasteful spending and pork.
Finally, I'd ask you to also consider making a contribution to the Free and Strong America PAC. With your ongoing support, we can continue to advocate for candidates and ideas that will strengthen our economy, our military and our families.
Thank you for all you have done.
Mitt Romney Honorary Chairman
who cares? i assume he’s back to being his old yankee liberal self...
We are a TEAM.
I’m not sure where he’s been, but I got a robo-call from him today asking me to vote for Congressman Bill Sali. He asked so nicely that I’m gonna do it. ;-)
Waiting for 2012. Then he will have to face Palin. In other words
looking at his history in presidential politics. ;-)
Dear Mitt:
Your minions have stabbed Gov Palin in the back over and over. You are afraid of her and I understand why. She represents the future of a conservative Republican party and you represent the failed past.
Kiss my ass. I will never support a backstabber like you.

Are You Going to Help?
Theres still time to help elect John McCain and Sarah Palin. This past weekend, I made phone calls through the volunteer online phone bank. I admit, I was uncomfortable cold-calling complete strangers on a Sunday afternoon. But it was ultimately a rewarding experience. There were people who still claimed to be undecided. There were also several Republicans who sounded like they needed a little encouragement to go to the polls. I like to think I made a difference.
In the middle of the afternoon, I blegged for advice because I was having a hard time talking to answering machines. As I expected, the wisdom of crowds made things much easier.
Please consider making phone calls on behalf of McCain/Palin 2008 in the next few days. The process is very easy. Sign up at the top link above (Im fairly certain you dont even have to use a real email addy if you dont want to get GOP emails) and within minutes the website will provide you with names, locations, phone numbers and scripts. (I think the hours are from 9am to 9pm Eastern.)
You generally get to choose the state youd like to make calls to, so if you have free long distance like me, you can help out with some of the battleground states. My suggestions are Colorado, Ohio, Virginia, and Pennsylvania.
Im tucking some advice from last weekend under the fold. Read it first and then get calling. I challenge each of you to make at least twenty phone calls. It wont take that long and it may make a difference on Tuesday. Im going to be calling again this weekend too.
Later: I want to emphasize that you can make calls from the comfort of your own home. This is so easy to do, theres just no excuse for not helping.
Get the names and numbers from the McCain/Palin website. Call in between loads of laundry. Call while youre waiting for dinner to be done. Call after you put the tot down for her afternoon nap. Do what I did and call while youre blogging. I know you guys spend countless hours just sitting in front of your computer. You could use a little of that time to call voters.
Scary thought on Halloween.
We need to get word to Mitt that if we get even a whiff of rumor that his henchmen are dissing our Sarah, then he will never get another vote from us. They had better not DARE try to blame her if Mac loses this election. She is the only thing he has going for him.
It sure is SCARY! ;-)
Hopefully locked up for the next few days...
Mrs Palin may have the key too!
Also What's his name - Gov. of Louisnana and Mitt would have been great. Ah, Gindell - not sure about the spelling of his name - he's one to watch out for. Like Mitt he is SHARP. I don't want Palin as a President ... . She is useful this time around ... .
he is where he is needed.
As Joe Lieberman has been to South Florida for the Jewish vote.
Dear Mitt:
Your minions have stabbed Gov Palin in the back over and over. You are afraid of her and I understand why. She represents the future of a conservative Republican party and you represent the failed past.
Kiss my ass. I will never support a backstabber like you.
That’s too bad.
It’s easy to see the difference between those who are petty and have no class ... Mitt does put “Country First”, has class and isn’t petty and foul mouthed.
After Fred bailed out, I happily voted for Mitt and would do so again in a heartbeat.
I completely agree. However, Romney wasn’t on our TEAM until he decided he’d run for the Republican nomination and his political “principals” miraculously changed.
Good. We need all the help we can get.
Ahhhh!!!! That’s too scary for even HALLOWEEN!!!!
Once place Romney has been is Dothan, Alabama.
Last week, Romney came to Dothan to support the Republican candidate for Congress whose name is Jay Love. The local newspaper’s headline read, “Romney in town for Love”.
Out of curiosity, why is Palin not a viable president?
