I think it isn’t a coincidence that as the last poster said this is happening right when the redistribution tape came out and just as important the LA Times story happens.
I think this is probably right when the LA Times story would start taking maximum effect. The fact that the Times acknowledged the tape and won’t release it leads everyone to believe that there is something very bad in the tape.
Not releasing the tape is actually the best thing that could have happened, most likely, because it lets imaginations run wild.
