Polls can’t predict the total numbers, they only show trends. The trend for the last week has been for McCain. Good news, but we won’t know until Tuesday night. Or maybe not even then. My guess is if Obama loses and it’s at all close he pulls an Algore.
Somebody posted here that it might cause a small recession after the election with Obama not spending his filthy lucre on all the disinfomercials.

You have it right. When opinion polls swing as drastically as these have for the last month, they’re essentially meaningless. It’s all going to come down to who has the most committed voters.

Clinton as a “moderate” crook. Not an idiologue. Obama is the real thing — an extremist to be sure. Same as those who propped him up.
