Truer words were never spoken from Michelle Obama's lips...
Could it be because McCain committed himself to Public Campaign Funds and is now nearly out of money? Ironic in view of his wife's fortune (which I guess he cannot touch even if he were allowed to take Public Campaign Contributions).
Two years ago the Liberal Press could not say enough good things about him and now they talk about him as if he were a mentally deranged socially deviant piece of filth. Never mind what they've said about Sara & Todd Palin or Cindy McCain; I can't help but wonder if John really thought they were his friends?
Idiot...
Thank you.
I can’t get to the link. When was the interview?
Now, now, just to be fair, you gotta realize, that was probably recorded two years ago. A lot has happened since. </sarc
This should be the end of an ad where Obama is saying he’s too inexperienced, followed by Hillary, then Joe Biden and then finally Michelle.
Fade to white copy on black background:
It’s way too soon...he hasn’t done anything, yet.
Yes, you’re right.
He has managed to vote:
1. For infanticide;
2. Against funding the troops;
3. Present about half the time;
4. With Democratic leadership 96% of the time;
5. For a tax increase for those making $42k;
6. For the $850 billion (with earmarks) bailout;
7. For amnesty for illegals;
8. Against the war in Iraq;
9. For nearly a billion dollars of earmarks in just a few months as a US Senator.
What a record!
I love the way Obama raises the thumbs of his clasped hands, a gesture that can only mean, "Hey, you heard her--She's right!"
How can we overlook the Global Poverty Act - 845 billion dollars to other countries. Yeah, that helps America’ “economic crisis”!
I do believe 0 is a bit henpecked to put it nicely.
That I don’t know - the entire clip was about 7 seconds long
I think it's entirely possible. Most people tend to project their morals and standards onto others. While I have problems with his conservatism (or general lack thereof), I believe for the most part John McCain is an honorable and loyal man. And, to his detriment, he projects these standards onto others.
Maybe to him a friend is a friend and he would never imagine that "friends" to some people are there to be used and manipulated until they have no further use for them and then tossed aside or turned on. Maybe to him his word is his bond and he would never imagine that to many others it's something to be thrown around as often as necessary to get what they want.
I think he honestly believed that Obama would keep his word as he kept his. Just as I believe, in his naivete, he thought campaign finance reform would put candidates on a level playing field. More irony for ya! :)
Make any sense? I'm not very good at explaining what I'm thinking. :\
Dang, that’s perfect! You’re good at this! :D

2007: Bill Clinton Says Obama Isnt Ready
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/16/us/politics/16clinton.html
“Former President Bill Clinton made an unusually direct attack Friday night on Senator Barack Obama ... suggesting that voters who would support someone with Mr. Obamas experience were willing to roll the dice on the presidency. Appearing on The Charlie Rose Show on PBS, Mr. Clinton repeatedly questioned Mr. Obamas preparedness for the White House, noting that he took office in January 2005 and became a presidential candidate about two years later. (Mr. Obama was an Illinois state senator before that.)
When is the last time we elected a president based on one year of service in the Senate before he started running? Mr. Clinton said. At another point, he appeared to compare Mr. Obama to a gifted television commentator running for president. Theyd have only one year less experience in national politics than Mr. Obama, he said.
When asked about Mr. Clintons comments Saturday in Waterloo, Iowa, ....Mr. Obama said. ...I believe that I have the experience that the country needs right now.

2008: Biden Admits: If Obama Is Elected A World Crisis is Guaranteed
Americans could be attacked and killed ... Students of history and those old enough to remember will recall that during John F. Kennedys early years in office we went to the brink of nuclear war with the Soviets after they placed missiles in Cuba capable of delivering atomic warheads to American cities in mere minutes. Who would want to repeat that?
This is what happens when you have a candidate nominated by the cut and run crowd. Youll have bad guys all over the world, who President Bush has kept at bay, suddenly thinking now is their chance to go for it.
None of the bad guys would need to test McCain. They know what he would do and that fear deters them from acting.
An Obama presidency invites a dangerous uncertainty which threatens to disrupt peace and potentially cause war!
