I too would have difficulty believing that the state of Colorado simply vanished/vaporized. ;)

Pretty sure there was an attack on the SGC. Remnants appear to be from orbital bombardment(Always wanted to get that in a post).

Tough for me too, since me and my family live here. No vaporizing of Colorado, please.
