Anyone who helps make that happen is giving aid and comfort to the enemy and is not conservative.

Your argument rests upon some questionable foundations.

First, this election is not a war, and votes are not prizes or conquests for either of the major parties. To treat the electoral process in such a way degrades and demeans the value of the individual citizen's vote.

Second, the assertion that the only choices in the presidential election are Obama and McCain, and that the individual citizen has no choice but to vote for one of the two is patently untrue. It is certainly possible that some voters are so digusted that they refuse to support either, and such a choice does not necessarily diminish or negate their beliefs in any way. What does diminish an individual voter's beliefs is the casting of a vote for a candidate or a proposal that does not line up with the voter's beliefs.

Last, McCain's peculiar habit of "crossing the aisle" to "give aid and comfort to the enemy" is well-known and well-documented. What this means is that anyone who assists McCain in doing so is, by extension, also "giving aid and comfort to the enemy." By your logic, therefore, since there are only two choices, and both choices will support Socialism, either directly, indirectly, or otherwise, it is impossible to not render "aid and comfort to the enemy."

Of course, such a statement is flagrantly false.

As for Cedric's little list, the compilation of such a list is unbecoming of a conservative and a republican. Yes, quite a few of the newbies (sign-up dates less than six months recent) are trolls, but you go through the established processes to deal with them (i.e., Viking kittens, the moderators, etc.) rather than going vigilante, especially if your discretion fails and you smear non-troll Freepers in the process.

I repeat myself to you in case others read this. There is a time and a place for all arguments. Beating up on McCain for his immigration policies are all well and good and as a former resident of Arizona and McCain voter, I have beat him up as much as anyone. In the primary, you do what you can to get your candidate elected, but in the general election, you defeat the other side. Your first point is clearly mistaken and 0bama supposedly has spent $500,000,000 to with the prize. But you know this don't you?

You reveal yourself as an Obamatron to me in that you have not once condemned 0bama for his socialist policies, his anti-American stances, friends and supporters, his anti-America military beliefs, stances and votes, his anti-capitalism and free trade stances, his anti-2nd Amendment stance, his pro-killing the unborn, even favoring partial birth abortion stances and his desires to change the Constitution. Nope, not a word from you that I've read. Obama is a clear threat and must not be elected. You are unable to come out against him.

All you have is the same old McCain immigration policy bs over and over and over. And while I agree with you on this issue, 0bama is worse on this issue and here you are doing all you can to get people to not vote for the only other VIABLE option.

You give aid and comfort to the enemy b/c your efforts are designed to take votes away from the ONLY person capable of keeping the enemy from office: John McCain. While I agree with you that a person should vote in a way that is consistent with their beliefs, this election goes beyond personality to core foundational issues. One of two men will be POTUS and they could not be more different on all but a couple of points.

You are like a Southern Baptist who gets to vote on Satan or the Pope and decides it's better that Satan win because the Pope isn't Baptist enough for you. The thing is? I think all you have posted is posturing so as to make people think that you and others like you aren't the 0bamatrons you are. C'mon out of the closet and just be yourself. You're not fooling us.

If McCain wins, then I will resume my efforts to persuade him to change his stance on immigration. If 0bama wins, we've all lost and the borders will be wide open with no penalties for employers who hire them. But you already know that...
