The difference between the Palin hanging & Obama is that the law considers the Obama hanging as racist because he's black (historical precedence, etc) and Palin's is just a halloween prop.(no historical precedence)

Don't ya LOVE double standards?

Here's a question...I wonder how they'd react if it was Biden hanging, would the very same double standard be applied?

To be fair, what with plugs’ white ‘hair’ and all, a Biden effigy would easily be mistaken for a McCain effigy.

Which just goes to show how stupid the sheeple are to think that there is no historical precedence in white people being hung, that a noose is considered as a symbol of racism is just ridiculous. People of both races and sexes have been hung all through out history. The Salem witch trials (all whites) come to mind as an example of mass hangings.
