KEVIN MADDEN, FORMER ROMNEY CAMPAIGN NATIONAL PRESS SECRETARY: Yes. And that's an indication just how unseasoned Sarah Palin is as a national candidate.

Sarah is very popular and this is a very critical juncture in the presidential race. Kevin Madden's criticism of Sarah at this point in time makes Kevin look like a dopey amateur.

If you go back over my posts I’ve been against Romney since the start of my posts (A Fred Thompson reporter), so I’m not palin’ on here. Romney seems an opportunist who will say anything to further his road to whereever he’s going towards. After losing, and losing stupidly, to McCain in the primaries he’s now working behind the scenes to get Palin out of the way in case she loses next week. Maybe wanting the 2012 nomination himself isn’t bad in itself, but he should be holding his fire until Nov. 5th. Romney the RINO, support the team with all of your strength or be prepared for Palin to high heel you some new hairpieces.

I never liked Romney getting out there with his big money pushing aside better candidates. He has been supportive of McCain so I’m not going to knock him but his spoiled yuppie followers had better keep their traps shut if they EVER want him to even have a possibility of running for President again. Romney needs to run for Congress or Senate and prove himself with votes. The same goes for Huckabee. They both should put their votes where their mouths are. Either way the backbiting needs to stop. We need to win this election, the polls are closing and we need to get McCain across the finish line.

Election day isn't even here yet and Romney is bagging on his own team? Romney is a fan of political suicide?

Mitt won't be getting my vote.

Kevin Madden no longer works for Mitt, he works for some group known as the Grove Group, a Democrat outfit, he is a Vichy Republican, and of the worst stripe, he is using his fmr status as a spokesmen for Boehner and Mitt to sell himself to the highest bidder.

Sounds to me like Romney just keeps digging a deeper hole. He mustn’t have any political aspirations for the future...because he doesn’t have a political future after this becomes widely known.

Maybe he can go back to his liberal politics and attract the socialists. He seems to be very flexible in his politics.

Now stop posting anti Mitt threads, it is not fair.

Mitt Romney is a beautiful man, with really nice hair, a snappy dresser, wonderful personality, brilliant business sense and occasional conservative positions when he needs them....

If Romney were at all a viable candidate, he would have creamed McCain, who was basically a Democrat running in a Republican primary.

From RedState: (Madden just another Republican who kisses DNC/MSM arse, who needs um)

Where did Kevin Madden go in the private sector?

The Glover Park Group.

The Glover Park Group is a Democrat group. Who is there?

Carter Eskew from Gore 2000; Michael Feldman from the Clinton White House; Gigi Gorges who worked with Hillary; Joel Johnson from Team Daschle; Joe Lockhart from the Clinton White House; Jonathan Sallet from the Clinton White House; Chip Smith from Gore 2000; and Howard Wolfson most recently of the Hillary Campaign.

What I find particularly disingenuous is the Mitten-in-Chief KLo’s impassioned defense of Romney over at NRO today—that doesn’t even mention the reports of Romney operatives undermining Sarah Palin to the press.

Stick a fork in him. Romney’s done on the presidential scene.

He might want to think about running for for Senator from Mass.

“Country-club Republican” condescension is NOT an endearing quality. RINOs that practice it are not likely to be at the center of republican operations next cycle.

Note, too, that Madden's perspective is strictly that as a journeyman insider male hack.

Journeyman in that he is for hire and currently without a position. He doesn't care about ideology, otherwise he'd heed the Reagan Commandment. Nope, he's out there pimping his "expertise."

Insider because that is how he's analyzing Sarah, the consummate outsider - thus Madden's gross error. Kevin is talking news cycles, assuming this is a bad story and that making lemonade is not possible. Totally inside-the-beltway analysis and no clue as to how Sarah's message is resonating with Joe and Jane Everyman.

Male because he completely misses how the attack was viewed by women in the first place. Madden is completely mired in the self-reference criterion.

Hack - well, that's obvious, isn't it?
