That is a good question. The merchant bank that is chumming with Obama seems to be looking the other way regarding violations of Payment Card Industry (PCI) rules. You would think that the card bank associations (Visa/MC etc) would not be happy about that.
I think the merchant bank is the leverage point to break this open. Find out who they are and get it public thru Drudge, O'Reilly or that populist pumpkin-faced guy on CNN. The anger at banks will do the rest.
