Sometimes my job requires that I have access to secure and sensitive areas. Last year some new rule mandated I provide my birth certificate. I did so. Nothing to hide here.

When I was an Individual Mobilization Augmentee AF reservist, I was required to keep a copy of not only my birth certificate, but those of my children, and a copy of my marriage certificate in my "Go to War" packet. Mine is still in there. The others have since been pressed into other services. College admission, new employment, etc.

Providing my birth certificate last year was a twist on a new rule that I can't or won't explain. Not the point. I had to have background checks to keep my job for years. And I'm not running for president. Standards should also apply to Obama. But you know they won't.
