As I speculated in a recent article, Obama had a dual purpose in leaving his campaign for Hawaii. And whaddaya know? His plane had barely touched down from his trip to Honolulu - ostensibly to visit his ailing granny - when the Republican governor of the Aloha State, Linda Lingle, placed his birth certificate under seal, directed the state's Department of Health to bar access of the document to the press, and declared that the only people eligible to obtain it were the person born or someone acting on his behalf, a relative, or a legal guardian.
So did Obama request the document, the better to resolve the question of his eligibility to be president? With less than a week to go before the election - and with attorney Philip J. Berg's lawsuit questioning that eligibility on the way to the Supreme Court - we still haven't seen Obama's birth certificate!
The peculiar events of the last week leave more questions than answers.
If Lingle sealed Obama's birth certificate, then there is indeed a record of his birth in Hawaii. But as The Obama Nation author Jerome Corsi writes, there is still no answer about "whether the original document...was a hospital-generated birth certificate or a registration of birth that may have been filed subsequent to the birth." In other words, we still don't know if Obama was born in Hawaii or on foreign soil.

Just about everything about BO stinks.
Apparently, the Obamas are upset because perhaps young Barack when he declared he wanted to run for the Presidency of the US in 1974 (see the Occidental College Video of him on YouTube) HE DID NOT KNOW OF THE DUAL CITIZENSHIP LAW IN INDONESIA AT THE TIME WOULD PREVENT HIM FROM BEING PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
The Obamas are scared of the truth. One cannot have maintained citizenship in the US if you were adopted by an Indonesian during that time period.
He is not qualified to be President of the US. That’s why Michelle Obama said “No law” about how his Indonesian step father adopted him would stop him.
It already has. They just don’t want to admit it. See you in Supreme Court for a 2000 election year nightmare.
I was wondering the same thing, but evidently there is no requirement for eligibility to run, just to assume the office. It’s up to the electors to decide eligibility for the office.
My father told me today that a local talk radio guy in Syracuse thinks Obama will win, be declared ineligible because he’s not a natural born citizen and the electors will choose Hillary. Let’s hope McCain makes this a moot point.
Sometimes my job requires that I have access to secure and sensitive areas. Last year some new rule mandated I provide my birth certificate. I did so. Nothing to hide here.
Obama wants to be president but doesn't want to produce the same document I was required to. There is something wrong with this picture.

Not really the Hawaii Department of Heath website had the rules already in place at least several months ago, which was just the first time I went and looked for them. AFAIK, they haven't changed, but here is what I just retrieved from the link above:
A certified copy of a vital record (birth, death, marriage, or divorce certificate) is issued only to an applicant who has a direct and tangible interest in the record. The following persons are considered to have such an interest:
* the registrant (the person whom the record is concerned with);
* the registrants spouse;
* the registrants parent(s);
* a descendant of the registrant (e.g., a child or grandchild);
* a person having a common ancestor with the registrant (e.g., a sibling, grandparent, aunt/uncle, or cousin);
* a legal guardian of the registrant;
* a person or agency acting on behalf of the registrant;
* a personal representative of the registrants estate;
* a person whose right to obtain a copy of the record is established by an order of a court of competent jurisdiction;
* adoptive parents who have filed a petition for adoption and need to determine the death of one or more of the prospective adopted childs natural or legal parents;
* a person who needs to determine the marital status of a former spouse in order to determine the payment of alimony;
* a person who needs to determine the death of a nonrelated co-owner of property purchased under a joint tenancy agreement; and
* a person who needs a death certificate for the determination of payments under a credit insurance policy.
So the governor is just restating the preexisting rules. How long they have existed is another question.
Linda Lingle was only following the law, which says that birth records are private and cannot be released without the person’s permission.
There are some exceptions, such as relatives, heirs, and the like. But no one else.
I’m also pretty sure that Obama was up to no good on his trip to Hawaii, but I’m far from certain what he was up to. Maybe something his grandmother knew, or paperwork she had, that he wanted to keep secret? She is hiding her behind an iron curtain.
The Chutzpah Factor Unanswered questions and suspect legalities aside, what equips Obama to be president? When the Illinois senator took office in November 2004, he spent a total of 143 days "on the job" - the number of days the senate was actually in session and working -before beginning his campaign for President of the United States, Commander-in-Chief of America's Armed Forces, and the most powerful man in the world.
Here is what he could never become after 143 days of experience: District Manager at McDonald's, Chief of Surgery, Superintendent of Schools, a Colonel in the Army, or a nightly news anchor. Yet he and his acolytes think he's ready! As, of course, does his wife Michelle, who is perfectly in sync with her husband's campaign in taking every opportunity to ignite racial dissension.
Speaking to African Press International (API), which is based in Norway, Michelle Obama disclaimed: ""My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband's adoption by his step father."
Writes the editor of Canada Free Press Judi McLeod, "In other words, according to the overzealous, you're-all-racists wife of candidate for presidency Barack Hussein Obama, the fix is already in."
"With an arrogance that can only be described as stunning," McLeod continues, "Michelle Obama said API would earn an invite to hubby's upcoming inauguration ceremony when he will be installed as the next President of the United States of America next year, if only they wrote a `good' story. Meanwhile, there is no doubt that without a single vote having been cast for her husband...Michelle is already off choosing her gown for his inauguration ball."
The Elephant In The Living Room
Was Obama born in Hawaii?
Was Obama born in Kenya?
>Was Obama born in Indonesia?
Curious people and those who revere the United States Constitution want to know. But as lawyers, judges, investigators, journalists, and political operatives dance around those questions, the real elephant in the living room - the subject Obama and his supporters want to avoid like the plague - is the whereabouts of his birth certificate.
This whole thing reeks of a coup d'etat
If it goes to the hands of the electors, they will not have the stones to overturn an Obama election.
He spent his usual one hour with Granny. In August it was one hour and in October.
Flew his big ole 757 at a cost of 150,000 or more.
If Obama had been older, it might be used against him, but as a young child he wouldn't have had any say in the matter.
I don't want him to become President, but relying on questionable legalisms is not likely to prevent it from happening.
Thank goodness he didn't spend the money on clothes. That would have been scandalous.
That used to be the case, before the days of identity theft on a large scale. I don't think it is any more.
If you look at the procedures for ordering copies, you might think you could just ask for verification, but the first link states the the requirements for verification of existance and of particular information on the certificate are the same as for obtaining a copy.
Lingle also tips her hands that the file and what ever it contains or doesn’t is available if so ordered by a court.
I can access the birth and death certificates of several people with little more than a small fee for processing. Have done it on several occasions, why is Hawaii different?
Then he shouldn't have a problem being forthcoming about it.
The Emporer has plent of news clothes and you can bet he didn’t spend a dime for any of his threads.
