The U.S. Attorney's Office will monitor the general election in Chicago and surrounding suburbs next Tuesday, U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald announced Tuesday.
As part of the monitoring effort, the office will operate a hotline for candidates or the public to call to report any complaints relating to voting. In addition, Assistant U.S. Attorneys will be available to respond to complaints as needed, according to a release Tuesday from Fitzgerald's office.
The hotline number, staffed on Election Day only, is (312) 469-6157.
"This office has a long tradition of monitoring the polls on Election Day." Fitzgerald said. "No one who is entitled to vote should in any way be inhibited from doing so while, at the same time, no one not entitled to vote should corrupt the election."

Don’t worry folks, Fitzpatrick’s on the case! /s off

Yes, they’re going to be running a very close check on republican voter fraud in Chicago. This was prompted by a rumour that a living republican might try to vote on Tuesday.

It’s too bad he can’t monitor the votes in in places where the outcome is in doubt.
To: Dawnsblood
It’s already started. The jack boots will be making sure you vote the way you’re supposed to vote. I promise they aren’t there to make sure everything is on the up and up.

The U.S. Attorney's Office will monitor the general election in Chicago and surrounding suburbs next Tuesday, U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald announced I guess it must be time to spend $3 million of your money to indict Scooter Libby again.
To: Dawnsblood
I should email Fitzpatrick and tell him over the plot I overheard. Libby is going to try to vote undercover, in disguise, in the Chicago area, even though he is prohibited. I'm going to suggest Fitzpatrick and his agents make everyone provide ID’s at the polling place to catch Libby. :)

What difference could this possibly make?
The DOJ has already proven that Democrats are above-the-law
and that they are in the ‘tank’ for Obama and the DNC.
