Still confused!!!!

What does digg mean, where did the word come from?

Can YOU do it, post it in your own words in one paragraph?

Digg is a website.

Digg.com

It is pretty similar to FreeRepublic, in that people link web-content (generally news) to a message board.

It is different than FR in that it is: (1) far larger and (2) has a much more diverse audience.

Similarly to “active” tab on FR, it has a popularity feature “diggs” for both articles and comments — but you can both digg and bury.

The DUers figured out long ago that a small cadre of people can bring articles to the front page or bury articles that hurt their cause.

We can learn from our enemies and similarly “game” Digg.

This is important because Digg is a place to reach non-partisans with key stories they would never hear because they don’t fit the MSM agenda — e.g. violent gays attack Prop 8 supporters, or, with my new post, 4 blacks beating a girl and giving her a concussion because she dared wear a “McCain/Palin” shirt.
