Idiots. I may be naive but how does this help Obama in the polls? Someone wasn’t going to vote for him but since they heard about the assassination plot now they’re more inclined to vote for him? I’m not seeing that.

I have to agree with you. I don’t see how this helps him in the polls at all. It will, however, take his 2001 audio tape off the front page. I wonder when it actually happened and why the release of the info now?

Sympathy..and it gives the Communist News Network something to talk about other than the fact that the strong evidence is hitting hard that Obama is a socialist/commie.

Wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't planned from the start.

Take a look at this...the saturation of soviet thinking in the media and every major institution was complete over twenty years go..we just didn't know it!

I kinda agree, but I think it energizes his base to get a few more lazy bums out to vote who otherwise would have sat at home all day spending their welfare check. On the other hand, even if it doesn’t significantly affect turnout (especially since the threat is being described as “not credible” - meth heads don’t make good long-range assassins), it helps stir up unrest if Obama loses. The other side will not only say we cheated, but we planned to kill him if we didn’t win.

Could attempt to spin this another way. I don’t want anything like that to happen to Obama, so I won’t put him in harms way by voting for him for President.

I suppose it could get people who would vote for him but don’t bother to vote out to the polls...

Actually, this sort of crap is precisely how weak minds calling themselves ‘undecided’ at this late stage are swayed to vote in sympathy. Pay attention
