If this {national health insurance} goes through, the chance of getting rid of it is all but nil.

Sadly true. As one who has severe health problems all my life(but with damned good health insurance)I read with absolute horror of other countries entanglement with socialized health care and this scares me most of all.

Frankly, I'd been dead (many times over)if I lived under their systems. That's no BS.

After kicking $700,000,000,000 of tax payer money upstairs to Wall Street, NO ONE will be able to make a persuasive case against national health insurance. And you can bet a President McCain would, with great flourish, sign it into law.

(Thank you, Jimmy Carter George Bush.)

Those who want national health insurance want it because they want it, regardless of any rational arguments that might be put forward to warn them against the program.
