If McCain loses, it’s the Republican party that needs to examine itself, not conservatives.

If McCain loses, what next for conservatives? Hope that there still is an America in 2010...

You said — “Look at the results my friend, If the Republican party can’t beat Barack Obama they can’t beat anybody.”

You’re right there... It’s too bad that it’s that way, but it certainly appears to be so...

No, her womanhood was a sort of secondary issue for me at least.

It is her consistency that I enjoy the most, she tries to do the right thing all the time, that impresses the heck out of me.

She is pro life, but did not try to bludgeon people with laws, she led by example in having Trig, and for me, it is better to inspire people to do the right thing then to pass a law mandating they do the right thing.

We have too much Government as it is.

oBAMA with a Den controlled house and Senate can do SERIOUS damage to the country in 4 years.

And with Obama appointing Supreme Court justice(s), packing the lower courts with 'RAT judges, cutting the military and "spreading the wealth" - thus creating a huge dependent class/'RAT voter bloc - the serious damage to our country could last well beyond 4 years. I think they will damage this country possibly for generations...

But remember all of what you listed were clearly perceived external threats (yes, even the Civil War, which was pretty clearly defined by regional boundaries). The the Obaministas in charge of the government, the enemy will now be within, and that is a different color of a horse. Remember where Ocokehead comes from. He's an Alinsky disciple. Read Alinsky's book. The strategy is clearly defined. Take over from within using the rules of "the system" against it.

If we go down to a crushing defeat this year, it will be Notes From Underground for conservatives. We'll be fighting guerrilla tactics from the hills. We won't see power again in our lifetimes. This election is just that important. Once the barbarians breach the gates, there will be no stopping the flood tide for a long, long time. The sheeple are just too stupid. Look around at the shifts in the electorate. They've been seduced by the siren song of socialism and free stuff from da gummint. Self-reliant people like Joe The Plumber are held up for ridicule and harassed mercilessly by the left and their minions in the media.

Without modern communication, there will remain underground pockets of conservatives, but it will be like the dark ages.

Pretty gloomy isn't it!! There will always be pirate am radio, I cannot fathom how Ø would be able to control the internet, satellite dishes would have to be banned and for the liberals who love porn that is an unlikely solution for Ø.

A great anecdote, we have forgotten what is like to Rally! around a cause.

For myself, Rally to Palin! is the closest target to aim for, the media has done everything to destroy that fine woman that they can, and Conservatives should be mad as hell about it and vote accordingly.

I would strongly urge you to start studying various “resistance” movements of the late 19th to early 20th century specifically the Irish Republican Army. Yes we can resist & eventually prevail but it will require a lot of hard work & discpline.

Organize plan & create propaganda, study mass communication & advertising, study up on digital encryption & encrypt literally everything not just political speech but Uncle Fred’s chili recipe, the local high school footbal scores everything! The NSA will literally have to wade thru tons of crap to get anything at all .

With the democRATS running congress, an 0bama win will mean that the electoral college is toast. We will not be able to take the government back.

Agreed. To even pretend McQueeg and Bush are conservatives is fraud.

If this {national health insurance} goes through, the chance of getting rid of it is all but nil.

After kicking $700,000,000,000 of tax payer money upstairs to Wall Street, NO ONE will be able to make a persuasive case against national health insurance. And you can bet a President McCain would, with great flourish, sign it into law.

(Thank you, Jimmy Carter George Bush.)

Amen. I ended up casting my mail-in ballot, after much deliberation, for Sarah Palin as VP. It isn't my fault that a lumpy liberal homunculus is (unfortunately) clinging to her for dear electoral life, on the wrong half of the ticket.

Here's hoping the insurance company actuarial tables hold out, odds-wise. ;)
