Since you’ve been around a while, you’re aware that we’re often visited by trolls who post innocent-seeming, but provocative questions as part of their ‘fishing’ effort. The question bore a strong similarity in form to a typical troll question, so I’m not surprised it was perceived that way. Whether it was or wasn’t will obviously become clear in the ensuing conversation.
Given that he (she?) has responded, the Troll Quotient has dropped somewhat.
I actually would love to toy with a troll from DU or KOS. Kinda like a cat with a mouse. (they are sooo easily frustrated) But everyone here is too efficient in spotting out the obvious ones as all I get to see are the remains of deleted posts.
I've myself registered many times on both. However I cannot hold my tongue long enough to provide myself “cover” and I'm soon discovered. Maybe one day I can spot a real troll. One can always hope...
