Much of the news coverage resembles a huge juggernaut. At least talk radio declares it's self. What I have seen on television is an absolute masquerade. The dignified "newsie" voices, the authoritative intonations.
My Liberal spouse is engrossed in an old movie. I went and switched on CNN. I just caught an individual talking about the McCain-Palin internal infighting. True the man did not say he knew of John and Sarah infighting. He went on and on about the split and the angst amongst the campaign organizers.
I got the name- a Mark Preston, CNN political correspondent. Then over to Barack and giving friendly coverage to Barack's address. Like it was a paid commercial almost. I turned it off. Went back to "Oliver Twist" an old film. I am genuinely feeling a little sad, about such unfair coverage and now absolutely unabashed. They are throwing every thing but the kitchen sink against the one candidate and his running mate.
The only consolation appears to be the old adage. Be careful what you wish for- you may get it. This as far as the MSM is concerned. George Orwell was right.

It must be strange to look south and to see George Orwell where there was once George Washington.
This does not bode well for the “free media” in the U.S.! Can you imagine the high handed tactics that will be employed if this career socialist does win the Presidency?! Thanks for taking an interest in our election. Most folks outside the U.S. seem only vested in our electing someone who has no clue for what the U.S. really stands.
