“Who IS John Galt???”
It’s ironic that you would be interested in a thread where the underlying theme is conservative-survival, and then show not the least of initiative to inform/educate yourself.
I imagine there are many such conservatives. Good luck. I hope my criticism is taken as constructive, not personal.
The movie was written “before the foundations of the world,” according to God’s Word. There is great book out by David Jeremiah (What In The World Is Going On)? Great insight from God’s Word as to what is happening in our nation and in the world today.
Love consructive critisism. Do not understand what you are saying.
OOPs I see the pic —skin color wins again
Does it seem to you that we are living the movie?
Well the sheeple never figure it out til it hits them in the face. Maybe there will still be elections in 2010.

“OOPs I see the pic skin color wins again”
Bingo!
Which is why i posted the picture in the first place.
In a sense, John Galt is you, and me, and every productive person in this country who finally gets ENOUGH - of paying taxes only to have a corrupt politician divert them first to himself, then partly to some minority automatic voting bloc that has found that it can be given everything it needs or wants for FREE. John Galt is a person who sees the “Atlas” group (the ones who are weary of carrying the world on their shoulders), now finding that they can no longer hold honest elections because of the cynicism of the “godlike” political class, which is the worst of the “parasites” who attach themselves like a leech to the working, producing class. - So, the millions of John Galts just shrugged one day and up and QUIT, simply making just enough money to provide for himself - and maybe giving something to the old, sick and infirm, and the child in his own IMMEDIATE community and cutting out the parasites. I think one guy was found having opened his own little hamburger stand to meet real needs in his own community and to earn his living.) - I think Ayn Rand (”Atlas Shrugged”) actually wasn’t much on charity, but we who are religious and live it will always help those less fortunate than ourselves personally.
IOW, what "should happen" to their causes and influence, is that they be smothered, criminalized, and snuffed out?
SHOULD happen?
A little Fraudian slip, when what should have been written was "worried...about what could happen...".
And we are called 'hate mongers' and worse by these control freak Lefties?
Well I think Ayn Rand may have been a prophet. Seems to me we are starring in Atlas Shrugged..The Movie. Maybe I will wake up and it was a dream. I ain’t Barrack Obamas beast of burden. NO WAY NO HOW! The cannibals are on the loose and I hear the drums.
Nonviolence vs armed zealots never wins.
And don’t mention Ghandi, as that is not what was happening there, any more than it was in Selma.
Is that a call to arms?
Have not seen Paul Revere ride by yet.

AP’s Zoll Smears Conservative Southern Baptists
By Ken Shepherd | January 31, 2008 - 15:49
In a January 29 article for the Associated Press, reporter Rachel Zoll lambasted conservative Southern Baptists as “vicious” partisans who sought to “wipe out” any trace of liberals or moderates from the denomination. What’s more, this characterization came while reporting on a gathering of “moderate” Southern Baptists set to convene tomorrow and featuring ex-presidents (and liberal Democrats) Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. (h/t Steve Barrett)
Both Clinton and Carter were raised Southern Baptist, but Carter has since cut ties to the Southern Baptist Convention and Clinton frequently attended the liberal Foundry United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C., with his wife while president.
Here’s Zoll’s first two paragraphs:
Weary of Southern Baptists’ dominance in American Protestantism, a new push is starting by other Baptist groups aimed at working on social justice issues, and showing their religious tradition is broader than the conservative SBC. Former President Jimmy Carter is leading the effort.
“It looks like, walks like, talks like and smells like desperation to me,” said the Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell of Houston, an Obama supporter who backed President Bush in the past two elections.”
Don’t ya just love it how the MSM is able to conveniently find all these voters who voted for Bush TWICE but are now voting for THE ONE! Just amazing! /sarc
