Why would Obama and the DNC spend many many many tens of thousands of dollars fighting this. If there was not a problem Obama could have released all of the information about his birth certificate and made political points at the same time. Something stinks.

The people that fought this do not pick up the telephone for less than 1000 dollars an hour. A ten dollar FedEx letter by Obama to the record keepers of Birth Certificates in Hawaii would have saved a lot of money. Why did he not do this?
