I fully expect the Dems to overreach and maybe get beaten back. Unfortunately, I have close to zero faith that the public (at large) will get it. For anyone who has even bothered to stay informed, its clear that the Fannie/Freddie debacle has Dem fingerprints all over it. But does the public blame the Dems? No, they blame Bush, even though he tried to fix it (not hard enough, however). The sad fact is that the MSM covers for the Dems and will go all out covering for “The One”, no matter what he does.

People seem to ignore or not even realize the most likely possibility, and the one with the greatest chance of success in the event of BHO and the Dims moving in an obvious Stalinist direction: A military coup.

That's what I'm afraid of. They'll try to rig the game, making voting fraud easier for instance, or denying tax exemptions to organizations that oppose them. Next comes IRS audits and investigations by Homeland Security and the FBI. Just wait until federal agents show up at your place of work and start asking questions about you because you engaged in 'suspicious' political activity.

The hardcore leftists in the party will justify it because their end goal is "social justice" and the simple criminals among them will run government like the mafia, attempting to destroy anyone in their way.
