Merkley a character... that's one way of putting it. As long as you are outside Portland, Eugene and Salem, its ALL Republican for the most part. Its only in Urban areas where the Dim’s are.... Its about even, IF everyone in Rural Oregon voted that is. Which they usually don't. Its like trying to corral water with ropes, the Liberals here are horrible.
