I agree with your comment whole-heartedly. What "botch"? One absolutely cannot read that NR article without knowing what it meant and one absolutely cannot couch it in the terms that Griffin did without being deliberately, knowingly deceitful. There is no "botching" here. The reporter was attempting to set Palin up for an angry, inaccurate answer.

The whole campaign has been like this. I don't think the anger at the blatant and omnipresent media bias is going to fade anytime soon.

Nope, not for me, either. None of the networks has done a “good” job of covering this spectacle of a campaign. Another poster stated in another thread that they can’t even watch Brit Hume anymore and I agree. All of the network coverage stinks to high heaven.

Griffen is just as stinky after his fauxpology as he was prior to that waste of oxygen.
