“Susan Smith have killed her children but Ashley Todd just killed John McCain and Sarah Palin’s chances of being elected.”
That makes no sense. Even the MSM doesn’t seem to be making a big deal out of this. No one who would have voted for McCain is going to suddenly not vote for him because of some nutters chick who he doesn’t know, has never met, and who he didn’t even defend. It’s a non-issue.
However, there were a lot of people on those same threads who said that the "attack" would hurt the Obama Campaign. Some even suggested that the "attack" be used against Obama.
Now, we know the incident was little more than a racist hoax intended to hurt the Obama Campaign, it is hard to imagine how this will not have negative impact on McCain.
