Not really, it doesn't state what hospital he was born in and as someone pointed out previously, the regs back then allowed for home/midwife assisted births. She could easily have caught a plane after his birth in Kenya and registered him as a newborn in Hawaii.
Those announcements have been public knowledge for months.
Forget faking it to ‘run for president’. How about faking it so he was a US citizen?
Nevertheless, I and most other observers believe it is entirely possible he was born in HI. The born in Kenya idea was not mine.
The only thing I know for sure is that his COLB is a forgery.
I think everyone is over thinking this announcement. Say he was born in Kenya, not sure any of the Dunhams or Obamas are thinking of citizenship. How about just proud parents or grandparents announcing a birth. The announcement does not seem to be an official record of birth that appear in some newspapers.
The lack of curiosity of the media (including conservative media) is unexplainable. I believe there was more questioning of McCain's eligibility because he was born in the US Territory of the Canal Zone, than there has been in regard to the eligibility of Hussein.
If he was born in Hawaii, then why doesn't the Obama camp just produce a real document proving it? My guess is that if he was born in Hawaii, that the birth certificate does not say "Barak Hussein Obama". I'd be willing to bet that his name is something like "Barry Stanley Dunham". OK, he'd be eligible, but he'd be shown to be a fraud. They will release it AFTER the election. The public has a right to see the documents BEFORE the election.
