Who in their right mind takes a plane ride from Kenya to Hawaii with a days-old newborn?
This is also 1961. And how many stops and how many countries would they have had to pass through on their return trip? Had Obama been born in Kenya they would have had to register his birth with the U.S. embassy in order to get documents to bring the baby through all these countries and back into the U.S.
His family is not in their right mind. She wanted to fly back before the birth which she supposedly tried to do because US citizenship is worth a lot. She tried before the birth but she was too far along.
And why would someone who was nine months pregnant decide to fly halfway around the world (in 1961, before the age of the big, long-range jets) to a third-world country? There is a big logical hole in the born-in-Kenya theory.
A crazy 18-year old girl who has just discovered her Kenyan “husband”, the father of her newborn son, is already married and a father to a child in Kenya.
Remember that African sensibilities differ from Western culture. It's not unusual there for a woman to give birth and immediately return to her normal routine.
Note that an old friend in the Seattle area (where Stanley Ann attended high school) said she met Stanley Ann with her newborn there about that time. The route from Kenya to Hawaii could very well have involved a stopover in Seattle, as it was on the BOAC route at the time.
Also, the birth announcement in the Hawaii newspaper - if legit - could have been placed by Stanley Ann's parents, the Dunhams, after receiving the news of the birth but before she got home to Hawaii with the newborn.
