Perhaps you could help Rokey register more of the “downtrodden” (”IF they are citizens”) while denying the troops their right to vote. Same guy, Rokey. I am sure that will be a satisfying way to indulge your sense of fair play.

I feel very strongly that ANYBODY who is a legal voter should be allowed to register. Period.

I agree with you if and let me put that in capital letters IF that person has the slightest desire to do so... what I STRONGLY object to is these ACORN people out shaking the bushes for any person and signing them up almost against their will (in many documented cases) If someone knows anything about who is running and what they are voting for - and they are a legal citizen (non-convicted) then they can vote...but they don't care enough to seek out voting on their own...why should these groups stalk them and hound them and get them to vote. Have you seen the Youtube called Harlem voters? That's about what you are getting using these tactics.JMHO

Bastards. This the lousy county employees do but just try to get one of them out to do a building inspection.

While most of Virginia is sane, Fairfax and Arlignton counties are occupied by democRat communists and illegal aliens.

“federal document and rules take precedent over state rules...like to see those challenged in court!”

I believe the federal rule applies to the presidential ballot and the state rule for local and state voting.

don’t blame me, I’m leaving Fairfax Co.

Any word on the un-registration of military voters in NC?

“Suleman”? Sounds like Al Quaeda has a sleeper on the Fairfax County Elections Board. Rejecting American soldiers’
ballots while bending over backwards to register jail birds. Shows the true profile of the Obama supporter. Is “Suleman” even a citizen? How do we know?

The McCain campaign said there’s not even a space for the witness to list an address. Suleman agreed; he said the federal document was changed in recent years and the space for the witness address was removed. But the Virginia law hasn’t changed.

Democrats insist they’re biased towards access... so will they try to intervene on behalf of these voters?

Um, no.

Incidentally, a quickie law could fix this. Rokey could do it quickly.

But he won’t. Most military votes are Republican votes.

I guess it’s too much time away from registering inmates who “might be legal.”

But is the County is disregarding the whole ballot? They would be affecting the federal portions(president, congress, and senate) as well. I don’t see how they can be allowed to do that.

I suspect they treat the entire ballot as federal.
