Yours is about the only post I’ve seen on this that makes sense. While the possibility is there for attacks, this sounds like self inflicted attention getting.

Do you have any idea what Allegheny County charges for a ride in a squad to the ER? Maybe she had no insurance or had a high deductible.
Some policies don’t cover transportation or ambulance fees.
