If this story is not some sort of hoax, then one would be prudent to assume that November 5 will be much worse, whether McCain wins or not.
During the ‘President For Life’ referendum, and the many rallies in Venezuela linked to it, Pro-Chavez activists armed with pistols circulated in the crowds and in the neighborhoods. One could never be certain that his next comment would not be his last. It didn’t keep the people down, the proposal failed anyway. But the hatred that came out was enough to keep Chavez, and all his friends happy for a long time. Collectivism thrives on violence, it needs terror to grow.
