Anne mentioned was a girl in Gerogia where Frank Marshall Davis and his first wife, Thelma Boyd, worked from 1931 until 1934.(Ann Dunham wasn’t born until November,1942) Frank moved back to Chicago in 1934 and although he and his wife tried to make the marriage work, they eventually divorced and Thelma relocated to Washington.(I have no idea if she relocated to D.C. or the state) That information can be found in the forward of the Frank Marshall Davis biography at Google books which is a pdf which cannot be cut and pasted!
