Obama in his own words in this video does not deny he will spread our wealth around, now he is calling opportunity! Opportunity for whom, Obama's pals, like Pelosi and Reid , Ayers, Wright, Rezko ?
See video in his own words, unbelievable the brazen attempt to spin his spreading the wealth into something good.... In this video he lies to say he wants to give a tax cut to 95% of Americans but when only 50% of Americans actually pay tax, his promises cannot be true.. fuzzy math....
Does he explain that businesses pass on their taxes he promises to levy to on them to the poor and middle class, or else lay off their workers or move out of the country where taxes could be lower ....No,,, in the meantime, almost every press journalists has a tickle up their leg and dont see any of these discrepancies, does the press pick up on the fact that the poor and middle class will actually pay higher taxes passed on to them in the form of higher prices for consumer goods? No...

I Don't Call it Socialism, I Call it Oppurtunity I call it wealth creation directed to elitists in Washington and then divvied out as directed by Washington.

"Lately, [McCain] and Governor Palin have actually accused me of -- get this -- socialism," Obama said. "It's kind of hard to figure how Warren Buffett endorsed me, Colin Powell endorsed me, and John McCain thinks I'm socialist."Keep talking Mr. Messiah. Keep mentioning the word socialism in every sentence you say! Go ask Joe to talk about the New Party while you are at it.
BTW -- Buffett stands to make a lot of money under a socialized renewable energy bill and Colin Powell is going senile.

Obama’s Party faithful don’t want to take from the rich and give to the poor. They want to take from the rich to further abuse the poor.

Colin Powell has a big streak of socialist. All you have to do is listen to the many “inspirational” speeches he's given since he resigned as Secretary of State. It's actually fairly common in career military, at least until they take a job in the private sector. The military is or was a “cradle to grave” institution, until the expense got to cutting into welfare and other “entitlements”. Military officers are trained to “Take care of your people first”. It's perfectly appropriate in it's context, but doesn't apply to society as a whole. The people are not subordinates of the government, as “his people” were his subordinates.

If you talk to Warren, hell tell you his preference is not to meddle in the economy at all let the market work, however way its going to work, and then just tax the heck out of people at the end and just redistribute it, Obama said.

Instead of directly refuting the substance of the charge Obama, using dismissive sarcasm and ridicule, deflects by appropriating the "credibility" of others and using it as a shield. "I can't be a socialist because an icon of capitalism and a "respectable" Republican have endorsed me." It's the same diversionary trick he pulls regarding his relationship with Ayers when he misdirects and dismisses all questions by pointing to the "Reagan Republican" Annenberg.

0bama reminds me of Humpty Dumpty in
Through the Looking Glass. "When I use a word, it means what I choose it to mean, neither more nor less."
So, "welfare" = "tax cut". "Socialism" = "opportunity".

He can call it whatever he wants. To quote Rush "words mean things".
Show me a comprehensive definition of "socialism" that doesn't include redistribution of wealth, or one of "opportunity" that does.

“I Don’t Call it Socialism, I Call it Oppurtunity” “Progressive oppurtunity” perhaps? Adolf Hitler:
“We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions.” (Speech of May 1, 1927. Quoted by Toland, 1976, p. 306)
In fact, the more one reads about the American “Progressives” of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the more parallels one finds between them and...... the FASCISTS.

Once again demonstrating Obama’s contemptuous cynicism.
By the way, he keeps bleating that 95%, those earning less than $250K, will receive a tax cut (they won't). I believe that it is something like 40% who pay no income taxes, and yes, a “tax cut” to them is simply a transfer of someone elses hard earned wealth (aka welfare, aka socialism).
Yet another vital point is the fact that the “top 5%” is not $250k and up, it is $175K and up.
He's perpetrating a royal scam, and he may yet pull it off.

Another wonderful insight to the liberal psyche can be seen through their ideas about taxation. Consider the fact that they like to think of themselves as modern-day Robin Hoods, stealing from the rich to give to the poor (never mind that Robin Hood stole from the tax-man to give back to the tax-payer). Liberal ideas about how the tax-burden should be divided are based on what they consider fair, not what is best for the country.
Youll rarely hear them seriously discuss whether tax-cuts for the so-called rich are in everyones interest, because they arent concerned about results, theyre concerned about their egos. Progressive taxation is a way for them to feel good about themselves, just like every other policy they support. It harms people they want to see as morally inferior, purports to help people they see as generally inferior and in need of help, and does so under the guise of fairness and equity. But whether the policy is actually good for the country or not is irrelevant. Incidentally, this all goes for affirmative action just as well.

I Don't Call it Socialism, I Call it Opportunity
Hitler's government meant greater
opportunity and greater equality. Although economic recovery and increased
opportunity won Hitler support, Nazism was totally guided by two main ideas:
Lebensraum and race.
