OK freepers, everyone get in line behind Sarah.
Care to re-read it again?
She's not for total amnesty, but seems to have a grasp of the problem and a respect for the law and reality. When asked, "Do you support total amnesty?", she answered:
"No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They've got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.
This approach, a path to citizenship, could be a very reasonable solution, especially if it is combined with better border enforcement and penalties for employers who hire illegals. Perfect? No, but better than the fauxbama plan.
You get to vote for McCain/Palin or vote in such a way as to elect Barry O. If the fauxbama is the next president, we will have MUCH bigger things to worry about than his agreeing with Pelosi and Reid to give total amnesty and citizenship to anyone and everyone.
