About the only gratification I will get out of this entire mess is that I’ll get to say “I told you so” to my in-laws, once this is all over and they see him for what he and his ilk are. I’ll be so happy to rub their noses in it.
Well, if he gets in we’ve got to agitate for investigation and impeachment. Not too likely, but eventually we ought to be able to take him down. He’s too unconcerned about breaking the law, thinks he’s too untouchable. That type eventually always over-reaches.
Unless he consolidates power.
This may be a area of inter-personal communications in which I could take some advice. Yet even the Israelite prophets had problems with the dynamic. No one ever takes "I told you so" in any good sense, evidently -- the best you can do is reach the generations after the deafened ones. There are very few who can take rebuke at this level, and far fewer who seem able to give it effectively.
