The point was my sarcastic email to the author and the LA Times asking where is the big article on Obama’s college years ... they are constantly trashing Palin but we know absolutely nothing about Obama until he appeared on the Chicago scene.

I agree with you on all points. So-called professional journalism is dead. It has been replaced by liberal political attack and vendetta propaganda while real journalism is now done by bloggers and interested, curious amateurs.

The newspapers can blame the internet, talk radio, cable and others, but they brought it on themselves. They created the vacuum and others have had to take their place and fill that need. Liberalism corrupts everything it touches and everyone who embraces it.
