"Ayers won’t get much public recognition. But what’s to keep Obama from talking with him in secret?"

It's not just a question of "talking with him insscret." Over the past 35 years Ayers has built up a huge cadre of teachers (and teachers-of-teachers: University=based Education teachers) who think he's the best-of-the-best, and who follow his line to a T. As Schlafly pointed out, "his peers recently elected him to serve as vice president for curriculum in the American Education Research Association, the largest organization of education school professors and researchers."

Ayers could easily supply Obama with a list of dozens of potential Secretaries of Education who would be as bad as he is, or worse. They will full the whole Education Department from top to bottom with Bill and Bernardine's people.

Thank you for the in-depth. I was referring to the public relationship between Ayers and BO. It will likely be behind the scenes until Obama crushes free speech [if he gets elected].
