There is no traction in talking about a dead mother.

>>>There is no traction in talking about a dead mother.<<<

True enough, at least speaking as someone with a sense of moral decency. However, if the woman in question was Republican or conservative, the media would be following this like she was a plumber from Ohio asking a question about redistributing wealth or an Alaskan high school junior who just got knocked up by her boyfriend.

Which is our problem, by the way. Two years ago, all I heard about in the media was Republican corruption personified in a Florida congressman who flirted with boys via e-mail. Now that Congressman’s Democrat replacement has been outed with two mistresses and taped telephone conversations with him threatening the woman... and the silence is awe-inspiring. For years I’ve heard about Republicans stealing elections. Now it’s happening in state after state with ACORN... and more silence.

Somewhere, someone has to confront the Democrats and the Left blow for blow. The Democrats and the left apparently don’t care about our moral stance and our sense of propriety. They want us squashed like the bugs they think we are. They want us exterminated. Someone out there needs to give life to that old expression from my childhood, “Never start a fight, but if you find yourself in one, make sure you finish it.”

Sorry for the rant, but I hate constantly getting sucker-punched by the left while I act nice.

No but it is kind of ironic, what with Joe the Plumber's tax woes being all over the news.
