What I want to know is this:
What if Governor Palin would say in a speech today somewhere, that she hopes all the undecided voters will consider how much it would be to have a white man in office, rather than a black man???? What would that do to our ticket? Of course we know what it would do!! It would be the death of us. The media would viciously and mercilessly attack us as being racist rednecks,and Governor Palin would probably be impeached as Governor of her state. There would be riots in the streets worse than OJ’s trial ever saw.
So why does Joe Biden get away with such racist talk, and it doesn’t make the headlines on every single media outlet in the country? Why isn’t there more outrage? I thought we weren’t supposed to care about the color of their skin, but rather, look at the content of their character (to quote Martin Luther King)???? What’sup?
Double standard times one million. Sickening. I hope this statement from Biden locks it in for the GOP once and for all. I hope the vast majority will see Obama/Biden for exactly what they are.
I think you underestimate the level of outrage that IS there. Just can’t be expressed, except on forums like this one here. You don’t like being called a racist for the flimsiest of reasons? My point is, is that I think there are millions out there, independent thinkers too, who are not liking this kind of talk.
